Favorite Tool My hands

My love for design began long before I knew it would become my career. Growing up in Colombia, I was surrounded by fabrics, textures, colors, and patterns thanks to the tailors and seamstresses in my family. I spent time helping my mother cut patterns, learning early on how a simple idea could be transformed into something tangible. My appreciation for mathematics initially led me toward engineering, but I eventually found my way to architecture, where I could combine my analytical mind with my creative instincts.

What excites me most about design is seeing sketches and ideas come to life. I'm particularly drawn to spaces that change throughout the day as natural light shifts, influencing how we feel and interact with our surroundings. My appreciation for urban public spaces also inspires how I think about the intimacy of a home. I enjoy collaborating with clients, listening to their ideas, and finding thoughtful solutions together. For me, great design is about balancing creativity with precision while creating spaces that feel personal, engaging, and alive.
