paige (owner / creative director):
paige has a varied background that has prepared her for both big and small projects. she has lived and traveled all over the world, constantly learning from her surroundings. in addition to design, she has a passion for teaching. she has been a yoga and dance instructor most of her life and finds that this helps her to create balance and contribute to her surroundings in the most elemental way. design for paige is about creating an environment that supports the entire person and comes from being of service.
she has a bachelor of arts from ucberkeley, a certificate in sustainability from ucberkeley ext., and 10+ years of project management. she also attended the interior architecture and design professional certification program through ucberkeley ext. in addition, she is a certified green building professional through (cgpb) build it green, an organization that she firmly supports and admires.
catrina (operations manager / project manager):
after 20 years in the restaurant business, catrina began studying interior design at canada college. she started working right after graduation and had a host of jobs that gained her a lot of experience in this field - fast!
catrina's first position was as a kitchen and bath designer for a high end, specialty cabinet showroom. she quickly learned the art of solving complex tasks while having little practical experience. this skill proved invaluable at the next few design positions she tackled. designing custom window treatments and spec-ing modular cabinetry to name a few.
then finally, she found her passion when she took a position at an eco friendly showroom. this is also where she met paige. here, she learned the art of running an earth friendly design showroom and was completely inspired by the new materials that surrounded her everyday. educating people about innovation in building materials while assisting them in designing their homes was a true honor.
catrina is a details person and finds so much satisfaction in seeing a large project come down to the final moments, when all the beautiful selected materials are being installed - that's her real sweet spot.
catrina continues to draw inspiration from the brilliant, environmentally conscious population here in northern california. on her days off you can see her wandering the streets, looking up at all the amazing architecture this city has to offer.

magnus schevene is an experienced artist blacksmith, designer, and sculptor who has led design, prototyping, and fabrication for high-end private and corporate accounts. he consistently exceeds expectations when assigned to develop and complete complex and valuable projects. magnus is a respected team leader, trainer, and advisor and takes pride in bringing an uplifting, positive attitude to team and client interactions. he believes that great designs come from working with an ego-less collaborative attitude.
magnus was immersed in a professional design environment from a very early age, including a professional apprenticeship to a high-end residential master blacksmith beginning at the age of 13. his education can be described as an "old world" arts and design apprenticeship education. he has always taken personal responsibility to improve, learn, and achieve excellence in design and project leadership.
renee (design associate):
born an artist, renee is always creating. she can paint a room and then create a painting to match.

cristina (design assistant):
cristina values the living energy and spirit of design and has dedicated herself to the disciplines of innovation, harmony, balance, and craftsmanship. space is an experience in need of interpretation and translation. in addition to the conceptualization behind an aesthetic, cristina contributes a sense of personality to an environment, purpose to an opportunity, and fulfillment of a desired energy.
cristina was born and raised in Italy surrounded by historical treasures and cutting edge design aesthetics that developed her acute approach toward design, form, and space. After attaining her bachelors degree in costume design in rome, she obtained her bachelors degree of science in interior design at the art institute of california-san francisco.
margo (design assistant):
margo comes from a background where there was a very strong presence of art and design, and has always been intrigued by the way color, texture, and light are drawn from the natural environment and brought into our living and working atmosphere, creating a bond between us and our spaces.
she earned a bachelor of fine arts from corcoran school of art + design, where she focused on drawing, painting, and furniture design and wood sculpture, and studies at uc berkeley extension for interior design.
her passions include furniture and lighting fixtures, finding new and innovative materials made from post-consumer, recycled, and reclaimed "waste", and using her hands to make art.
she feels that since we are so often inspired by the world around us, we need to give back by designing and using responsibly, and believes that thoughtful, well designed spaces can reflect, affect, enrich, and even heal, on a personal and universal level.
mennlay (communications / marketing)
mennlay is a first-generation american born to liberian parents who've held strong environmental lifestyle habits before the term was coined; and so, it is one of the strongest driving forces in her life. mennlay has an innate sense of design and style but holds a degree in journalism and kinesiology. she peacefully thrives as a freelance writer, yogi, dog lover and bicycle-riding fanatic.
michelle (finance):
most accounting practices have the goal of keeping the business out of trouble; with other businesses, with clients and of course (and seemingly most important) with state and federal government. michele's work takes these as a basic matter of course while focusing on the real issues of running a shipshape business - the actual practice of management accounting; those aspects of the numbers that encourage a business to grow and thrive.
michele's many years of accounting expertise in managing small business financials has created in her an ability to fine tune each companies books to their specific needs regarding money management and reporting.
her delight in maintaining an excellent set of books is only exceeded by her joy in the practice of the raku ceramic arts. these differing left-right brain exercises may seem quite disparate, yet their oddly compatible work provides an excellent personal balance.
